CCC Baseball Student-Athletes Honored
Mokienko, Monteith Garner Region XIX Awards
Blackwood, NJ -- Camden County Baseball student-athletes earn post-season awards
First-year Pitcher Nick Mokienko was named Region 19 Pitcher of the Year, capping off a remarkable season on the mound. Mokienko's dominance was a key factor in the team's success, showcasing a combination of pinpoint control, velocity, and poise under pressure. His performance has not only earned individual recognition but has also positioned him as one of the region's premier collegiate pitchers.
Mokienko is also the first Pitcher of the Year honoree in Head Coach John Scanzano's tenure at Camden County College.

Sophomore infielder Ian Monteith also received high honors, being named 1st Team All-Region as a Designated Hitter. Monteith's consistent offensive production and clutch hitting made him a reliable presence in the lineup throughout the season. His work at the plate was instrumental in helping the team compete at a high level in Region 19 play.

"Nick is exactly what you want in a pitcher. A guy who doesn't show emotion and isn't affected by how big the situation is. He always had the mentality to compete, and was fearless whenever he was on the mound for us."
