Bio
Mike is entering his first season as an assistant coach with the Cougars softball program. He comes to the Cougars after coaching four years at Vineland High School, where he guided the team to the state championship game in 2024 and a 19-4 record in 2025. He currently assists in overseeing the New Jersey Gators fastpitch travel program and is the head coach of the 18U Gold team. Coach Reed has over 19 years of experience, including being an assistant coach at Kingsway Regional High School and Academy Park High School in Pennsylvania, as well as President and coach with Swedesboro-Woolwich Little League. Mike helped guide Swedesboro-Woolwich Little League softball to back-to-back New Jersey state finals at the 9-10 and 11 year old levels. He has coached travel teams and players from the 10U to 18U level. As an assistant coach at the 10U level, he helped lead the team to a 4th place finish at Pony Nationals. With his over 19 years of coaching experience, Mike focuses on helping softball players build and develop strong fundamentals, that are needed to help players reach their full potential.
