CAMDEN WBB CRUISE PAST SUNY-ORANGE, WIN 2ND IN A ROW
Lady Cougars dominate, win 61-40
Blackwood, NJ -- Lady Cougars find rhythm early, blow out SUNY-Orange
CCC WBB (5-6) continued its upward momentum with a convincing 61–40 victory over SUNY Orange (1-7) this past Saturday, securing its second consecutive blow-out victory at home.
From the opening tip, CCC WBB set the tone with disciplined execution on both ends of the floor. The Lady Cougars jumped out to an early lead, forcing turnovers and limiting SUNY Orange's scoring opportunities.
Orange was on their heels defending the multi-faceted offensive attack, struggling to find any answers for a determined Lady Cougars squad looking to extend their streak.
Camden's defensive pressure disrupted Orange's rhythm throughout the first half, helping build a comfortable 36-12 advantage heading into the locker room.
While the Lady Cougars offense slowed down in the 2H, they controlled the pace of the game, scoring timely and efficient baskets. They showcased an unselfish style of play, consistently creating high-percentage shots contributing to a balanced overall offensive effort.
Strong execution on the defensive side of the ball allowed Camden to sustain their lead, preventing SUNY Orange from gaining any sustained momentum.
Camden's ability to limit second-chance points and protect the paint proved crucial in maintaining the double-digit lead.
Brianna Kemble (Blackwood, NJ) and Erica Paranzino (Washington Township, NJ) provided great minutes, combining for 29 total points, 12 rebounds, 9 assists & 7 steals.
Tajai Webb (Clementon, NJ) scored a career-high 12 points on great efficiency, shooting 5-11 from the field overall and 1-2 from three.
With the 61–40 victory, CCC WBB improves its record to 5-6, as they look to continue their strong play as of late.
